Last night Steve and I, with Abbie and her boyfriend Ben, went up to the Strode Theatre in Street for the annual WCS Big Band concert. Loved this last year (can’t believe I didn’t write about it here then!), and last night was fabulous as well.
I am obviously biased, as there are only four vocalists selected to sing with Big Band each year – but if the conductor can rave about his son (principal trombonist off to the Royal Academy of Music next year) during the concert, I think it’s probably ok for me to rave about my daughter and her boyfriend (who by the way are off to Guildhall School of Music and Drama next year)!
So, to correct my omission, from last year’s concert: Anna singing Slightly Out of Tune
